I know. It is Thursday and there is a blog post. And yes, in case you are wondering, I am still sick. Thank you for your concern. I think that I'm on the cusp of getting over it though. I bet I just jinxed myself. Hopefully not though, because the reason that this blog post is taking place on a Thursday instead of on a Friday is because I took tomorrow off and the weather is supposed to be picture perfect! I'm not sure that I am planning to spend too much time outside (they are FINALLY fnishing our closet tomorrow morning, so my plan is to move all my stuff so that I can enjoy the weekend without having to worry about moving all my clothes), but I know that I am going to at the very least take the pups for a nice walk since they've been going stir-crazy inside. I feel bad that they haven't been allowed to run around in the back yard for the last few weeks, but it has just been way too muddy. They go out and when they come back in, even if it is fast, they look like they've taken a mud bath at a relaxing spa. It takes like a good twenty minutes to get them all toweled off.
I know that I mentioned on Friday that we were having a Greek Easter celebration here last Sunday with all of our family and friends. It was a great time. We went through so much Rosé. It has been a HUGE hit. Not even just with my family....our restaurant accounts seem to be on the Rosé train too! We've had 5 other accounts pick it up just this week. So exciting that everyone is loving it.
As the title of this blog alludes to, we have set another date for a semi-private tour. June 15th is going to be the date. I know that it seems far away, but we are slammed until then. We have 2 tours for Colonial School Disctrict on 4/27, on 5/4, and on 5/11 we have 1 tour for Colonial and then our semi-private tour that is scheduled for 3PM. On 5/18, we have a tour that a group won at a non-profit fundraiser. We aren't having anything the week of Memorial Day Weekend (or the Friday following), and then we have another private tour scheduled for 6/8. SO...before anything else pops up, we are adding 6/15 at 3PM for you guys. Hopefully you can make it! It is going to be our normal tour and tasting - you can expect to spend about 2 hours to 2 hours and 15 minutes wtih us! It is always a lot of fun and it is a great way to end the work week!
Enjoy the beautiful weather this weekend. I don't think it is slated to last too long, so make the most of it while it briefly makes an appearance (next Tuesday is supposed to be in the 30s and 40s again!). I know that Matt and I plan to play golf at some point this weekend...he's been getting antsy for golf season. I actually have been too. We really enjoy playing together...and I'm not just saying that. You know how most wives THINK that their husbands enjoy golfing with them? Well....I KNOW. I also know that we are going to be doing more yardwork this weekend. Darn. Don't you wish the yard would just make itself perfect? I guess if it did that though, you wouldn't feel nearly as accomplished once it was done. Anyway, until next time...
