Crazy May is underway!

I'm going to blink and May will be over....can't believe it.  You know that June is my most favorite month of the year, though.  Do you remember why?  It is because school is done and there are no more school buses on the road.  I have my trip to work timed perfectly.  I HAVE to leave my house by NO LATER than 7:04AM every day in order to miss the school bus that drives up my road...usually passing my house by 7:06AM.  So, I rip down the driveway in order to make it in front of that bus.  THEN, I take Lower State Road all the way towards Welsh Road.  If I do not pass a certain neighborhood by 7:30AM, I get stuck behind a bus for 2 stops and then continue onto Old Bethlehem Pike...if I am ahead of schedule, I cut over to Cedar Hill Road and it's smooth sailing.  If I get stuck behind the bus for the 2 stops, that's not so much of a problem.  The BIGGEST deal is if I am not passing Cedar Hill Road by 7:40AM.  If I do not pass Cedar Hill Road by 7:40AM, I may as well pull into the new Wholefoods and have a cup of coffee because there is this bus that stops like 8 times on Old Bethlehem Pike from Spring House to Ambler and it ruins my whole morning.  Anyway, it will be nice to drive in without having such a strict time table.  You are probably thinking, "Ali, why don't you just leave earlier so that you miss all the buses?", and I'd answer, "Have you met my three dogs and also have you heard of sleep?"

So, the main reason that I think that I am going to blink and May will be over is because we are slammed with tours!  We have 2 tours today, we have a tour on Wednesday of next week, we have a tour on Friday of next week, we have a private event on Wednesday the 30th, somewhere in there is Memorial Day Weekend...it's just going to be a whirlwind.  The tours have been going so great too.  I've been so happy with them, and I think that I've been so happy with them because the people that have been attending them have been so happy with them.  The tours are very special to me; I so enjoy sharing this property and my grandparents' story (and stories about my grandparents) with everyone who comes to visit.  My hope is that at the conclusion of the tour, you see how special Karamoor is.  How special the wine is.  How special my family is.  It makes me happy to share all the stories as well as all the trials & tribulations that has made us, and continue to make us, who we are.

I'm sorry that this wonderful weather is not supposed to run into the weekend.  I was hoping that tomorrow and Sunday would be exact replications of today...but, sadly, no such luck.  If you haven't gotten a chance to take advantage of our Warm Weather Wine pack - you should...it's a great smattering of wines at a great price that go perfectly with days like today.  Even though the weather is supposed to be mediocre, I have a weekend of yardwork lined up for myself.  I think on Sunday we are going to head to Mom and Dad's to celebrate Mother's Day.  Mom is a pain because she won't do a brunch or an early dinner...but I also really love and admire her...so she gets what she wants.  A dinner BBQ on a Sunday night...  I hope that you have a wonderful weekend planned.  Until next time...
